About Kings Arms Coffee
It started with a cup of coffee—and a moment that changed everything.
In 2012, Tony Geers walked into a specialty café in San Francisco and saw what looked like a science experiment: Oji drippers, siphon brewers, and pour overs lined up with precision. But it wasn’t until he took a sip of a naturally processed Ethiopian coffee—bursting with blueberry notes—that everything shifted.
“What did you put in this?” he asked. The barista just smiled and said, “Nothing.”
That one sip sparked a journey. One that led Tony and his wife from casual coffee lovers to specialty coffee evangelists, roasting beans at farmers markets in Tampa and chasing the beauty of single-origin coffee from farm to cup.
But coffee was just the beginning.
From Beans to Mission
Tony and longtime friend Tim Jooste met as teenagers in Tampa, attended Bible college together, and shared a love for business and global missions. Tim brought a strong background in sales—earning top awards at Vivint—while Tony brought coffee expertise and creative vision. In 2013, they partnered to build something that combined it all: business, purpose, and exceptional coffee.
While traveling as missionaries through Honduras and Brazil, they saw it firsthand: families living in tin-roof homes, no running water, barefoot children, and communities overlooked by the world. Yet, in the middle of these hills—often growing coffee in their backyards—were the most joyful, resilient people they’d ever met.
Kings Arms Coffee became a way to give back to those who unknowingly gave us our purpose.
That’s why we say: Drink Coffee. Give Hope.
Why the Name “Kings Arms”?
In 1696, the King’s Arms Coffee House opened in New York City. It quickly became a hub for merchants, thinkers, and politicians—a place of connection and purpose. That legacy inspired us.
But to us, “Kings Arms” means more. It reflects our desire to build spaces that bring people together—over coffee, creativity, and meaningful conversation. And it carries a deeper meaning: we believe we are the arms of the King—God’s hands extended to help those in need.
Our Craft
We aren’t just about giving—we’re obsessed with excellence.
Kings Arms Coffee sources some of the most unique and high-quality coffees in the world, often from the very regions we once served in as missionaries. We specialize in light roasts that highlight fruit, sweetness, and vibrancy—because coffee is a fruit, and we want every sip to remind you of that.
You won’t find over-roasted, over-sweetened coffee here. We’re pushing boundaries with experimental processing methods and roast development to give you something you’ve never tasted before.

A Note From Our Founder
Kings Arms Coffee was never just about building a brand—it was about creating something meaningful. Something that connected people to each other, to the world, and to the greater purpose behind every cup. I’m grateful for every person who’s come alongside this journey—whether you’re brewing at home, visiting our café, or partnering with us to give hope globally.
