Kigali Inzovu Peaberry (Collab Blend) is a true community offering, bringing together beans from 65 washing stations and more than 80,000 smallholder farmers across Rwanda. Rather than coming from a single site, this annual blend showcases the collective expertise and collaboration of the entire Rwanda Trading Company network. Grown at elevations ranging from 1,400 to 1,900 meters—where cooler temperatures and high-altitude conditions yield exceptional clarity—these Bourbon and Typica peaberries are fully washed, then sun-dried on raised beds for 15–20 days. The result is a clean, balanced cup with lively brightness and a silky mouthfeel, featuring notes of plum, cherry, lime, and honey.
Rwanda Trading Company, established in 2009, exists to create lasting social impact. By owning and operating sixteen wet-milling stations and working directly with farmers on every step—buying, processing, and marketing their coffees—RTC ensures transparency and resilience throughout the supply chain. Profits generated here are reinvested into agribusiness training programs, leading to greater economic security and opportunity for Rwandan producers. Kigali Inzovu Peaberry is a testament to the power of community and collaboration, supporting thousands of farming families while delivering a cup that’s remarkably consistent from year to year.
